Coaster Landmark Award

Self-proclaimed as “the most educated, dedicated, and passionate amusement park guests,” American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) tapped the Dragon Coaster, Rye, New York as an ACE Landmark Award winner in 2009.  This award gives recognition to throwback coasters who may no longer make the top thrill-seekers lists but are still historically significant.  Operating since the 1920’s, the rider experiences of the ride’s hallmark moments as the car enters a 265’ custom-built dragon tunnel—born and hatched, here, on our shop floors.
