Director of International Sales: Adirondack Scenic, Inc. d/b/a Adirondack Studios (Argyle, NY) seeks a Director of International Sales. Responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic business plan to advance international sales for ADKS in the global market. Work in conjunction with: Executives, Sales Personnel, Business Development Administrator. Serve as Lead on specific Sales initiatives within Sales Group as assigned by the VP of Business Development. Manage International Sales Team (TBD) across global markets, regional sales team development, sales planning and execution. Manage International Sales Projects quotations in conjunction ADKS Estimation Department. Has collaborative responsibility for Sales personnel, Business Development Administrator, Managers/Directors of the Company to promote the capabilities of the Company and advance the standing of ADKS. Research potential clients and projects for new clients by region or by market (areas TBD). Responsible for ongoing Strategic Market Development, including New Market Development and strategic partner development. Further a globally based Design Development initiative in coordination with Creative Design Executive and the Creative Director to utilize design resource’s that allow for ADKS to develop specialized market leading design capabilities for early involvement of delivering turnkey project services on large scale projects within leisure industry. Present ADKS as a quality design/fabrication firm that can offer integrated solutions to potential clients. Identify, qualify, develop and consummate sales; focusing on larger more comprehensive projects, projects for existing clientele, regional sales team opportunities and projects which meet the creative, artistic and physical resources of ADKS. Assist in strategic collaborations with Outsourced Services: in conjunction with Creative team, Project Management and Purchasing Dept. Utilize Sales Force daily for lead tracking and opportunity progress reporting. Monitor all project in terms of ongoing job costs, status, projections, and implement measures to ensure maximum outcomes from a sales perspective. Contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual sales meetings and regular company staff, administrative, and executive meetings as directed by the VP of Business Development. Meet established sales metrics as outlined by the VP of Business Development. Attendance at required trade events, client presentations, and sales meetings. Utilize existing relationships in the theme park and family entertainment center industry to bring additional business to Adirondack Studios. Req: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, marketing or business-related with 5 years of experience as an International Sales Director including proven track record of achieving overall sales targets, strategic planning and implementation, market development, and new product development. Travel extensively for company business as required.
