Project Manager- Argyle, NY

Our Project Managers:

  • Serve as the primary driver of the project, ensuring that the project moves forward through its lifecycle to completion and client sign off
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, experience working with designers, and a strong understanding of other areas of production are required
  • Establish and maintain the schedule for a specific project
  • Familiarity with CAD and/or Hand Drafting is preferred.
  • Assist sales with estimating and advise on methodology and project formatting
  • Manage and track project deliverables
  • Maintain profitability and financial health of projects
  • Manage project budgets with weekly spending projections and report any deviations
  • Oversee all aspects of the project per client agreement
  • Coordinate project meetings and reviews with project appropriate personnel. Record and publish notes, minutes and action items resulting from these events
  • Serve as a point of contact between ADKS and respective client on all aspects of the project.
  • Travel for company business as required

The ideal candidate has a minimum 5 years of experience managing theatrical show set, theme park, or general commercial construction projects valued at $500K to $3M+. Additionally, a strong background in and practical knowledge of technical theater, including staging, rigging, lighting, sound and projection and a knowledge of theater terms and operations is preferred.

Must be familiar with standard construction and building techniques, change order management, direct client interface, subcontract negotiation, and management. Experience in the field of custom fabrication is a plus.

This position will be headquartered out of Argyle NY (1 hour north of Albany, NY and 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs, NY).
