Adirondack Studios (ADKS), a world leader in the design, fabrication and installation of entertainment, retail and cultural experiences, and with offices in upstate New York, Pasadena, Orlando, Dubai and Shanghai, is hiring an experienced Project Manager who will guide our locally sourced Orlando Florida projects. We are looking for a candidate with a track record of taking ownership and delivering!

Our Project Managers:

  • Serve as the primary driver of the project, ensuring that the project moves forward through its lifecycle to completion and client sign off
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, experience working with designers, and require a strong understanding of other areas of production
  • Establish and maintain the schedule for a specific project
  • Are familiar with CAD and/or Hand Drafting
  • Assist sales with estimating and advise on methodology and project formatting
  • Assist marketing with generating on-site social media content, obtaining client permissions and providing key project information
  • Manage and track project deliverables
  • Maintain profitability and financial health of projects
  • Manage project budgets with weekly spending projections and report any deviations
  • Oversee all aspects of the project per client agreement
  • Coordinate project meetings and reviews with project appropriate personnel. Record and publish notes, minutes and action items resulting from these events
  • Serve as a point of contact between ADKS and respective client on all aspects of the project
  • Travel for company business as required

The ideal candidate has a minimum 5 years of experience managing theatrical show set, theme park and/or general commercial construction projects valued at $500K to $3M+. Additionally, a strong background and practical knowledge of Scenic Paint and creative processes are considered a plus.

Must be familiar with standard construction and building techniques, change order management, direct client interface, subcontract negotiation, and personnel management. Experience in the field of custom fabrication is a plus.

Salary Range = $80 – $100K

This full time position will be headquartered out of Orlando, Florida (5 minutes from Orlando International Airport and approximately 20 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort).
