Adirondack Studios (ADKS) is hiring a Director of Sales who will direct and guide the day-to-day tasks of the sales team toward established deadlines, goals & expectations.

Our company designs, builds and installs the scenic and themed environments you experience in venues that range from theme parks to casinos, museums, live shows, retail, and public art. The ideal candidate will support the projects and goals of Adirondack Studios’ (ADKS) projects domestically and globally by providing Sales and Business Development support to an extremely talented team who are known for selling and implementing exceptional Themed Entertainment projects and productions. We are looking for someone who will have a strong leadership understanding and is a solid manager of the sales cycle. CRM implementation experience is important. A day to day understanding of people operations a plus. Knowledge of Theater production, Theme Park experience and/or museum exhibits is a plus but not required.


  • Institute use of Salesforce or other CRM software.
  • Sales Analytics: Develop and implement a sales structure and operations program to fit ADKS needs, including monitoring data input and data system reviews.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of ADKS Sales and Estimation.
  • Manage salespeople throughout the entire sales process. From initial lead generation to project commissioning.
  • Guide Salespeople toward clear, effective and appropriate sales methods and strategies.
  • Support the lead qualification process to ensure appropriate work for ADKS.
  • Create and update weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports and metrics, and additional Sales reports as needed. Improve productivity by creating and analyzing reports.
  • Provide accurate sales data to the Executive team that allows for strategic company decisions.
  • Manage the sales team with individual weekly check-ins to ensure consistency in Salesforce reporting and set up protocols to allow for more accuracy for inter- departmental reporting.
  • Manage Work Order publishing process ensuring that Estimation, Sales Team follow protocols
  • Review all proposals for accuracy, content and clarity.
  • Ensure Work Order & Change Orders are timely, complete and accurate
  • Liaison to professional organizations and trade shows.
  • Attend community events, as required.
  • Recommend and maintain internal & external training opportunities and institute resources.
  • Travel on company business, as required
  • Establish better communication methods and tools to communicate with global sales team
  • Foster team building.

This position is stationed out of ADKS’ offices in Argyle, NY – 1 hour north of Albany and 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls. Salary is 110k – 130k
